WHAT WE'RE SAYING

Cass Business School held an event in November to launch the book  ‘The New Strategic Landscape’ and Gill, as one of the co-authors, introduced her chapter ‘Strategy and Discourse’.  She was delighted to meet and talk to many people interested in LL’s methods and to see old friends and clients who came along to support and celebrate.  She continues to guest lecture on the Cass MBA programme, where the book is now required reading for the elective on innovation in strategy.

In December there’s a Conversation Analysis conference in Loughborough – arguably the centre of the CA world – and we’re pleased that our very own Katie Best has been selected to speak, amongst quite a few 'big names'. 

Rebecca and her colleague Katrina Pritchard gave a seminar about their research on the discourses of age and work in September to an audience of researchers, practitioners and age campaign groups.  They presented findings and shared practical insights from their e-research methods – experience we benefit from in our everyday work at LL.

With the holiday season approaching, Veronika is visiting family rather than conferences and having private rather than professional conversations. But there are a number of events coming up in 2013, and she will be out there on the circuit again before long.
